  18. I just ordered a meg of chip ram, received it today, and installed it. 
  19. Well, the chips work quite well so far, but I still wonder about where they
  20. came from.  The appear to have been tinned, or at least previously
  21. socketed (IE, _USED_!!!).  I have 8 meg of SC Zips coming in prolly
  22. tomorrow or the day after.  After hearing this from you guys, I'm hoping
  23. _like_hell_ they will be ok.  I have had good luck from SH in the past - a
  24. GVP 4M Simm, the chip ram, and (now, where did I get my 540 Quantum???)..
  25. so I hope it will be ok.

  33. Dunno.  Chip Merchany in California, widely heralded among Amigans here at
  34. Georgia Tech as a cheap source for ZIPs, no longer carries them.  =(
